An August San Francisco City Hall Wedding at the Mayor’s Balcony

This San Francisco City Hall wedding was thoughtfully planned around light, privacy, and meaningful moments. Taking place in August at noon, the couple chose the Mayor’s Balcony for their ceremony.

A First Look & Private Vow Exchange Before the Ceremony

We met up 30 minutes before the ceremony to create space for a first look and private vow exchange. For this special moment, we found a quiet spot on the 3rd floor of San Francisco City Hall, away from the main crowds.

This time before the ceremony allowed the couple to slow down, connect, and be fully present with each other. Private vows inside City Hall are always incredibly emotional, and choosing a quieter floor made the moment feel even more intimate.

A Noon August Ceremony at the Mayor’s Balcony

The ceremony took place at 12:00 pm in August on the Mayor’s Balcony at San Francisco City Hall. Noon ceremonies during August offer bright, even light on the balcony, making it a beautiful choice for couples who want a classic City Hall look with strong architectural backdrops.

Immediately after the ceremony, we stayed on the Mayor’s Balcony for group photos.

After group photos, we transitioned into couple portraits throughout San Francisco City Hall. With the formal moments complete, the couple could relax and enjoy their time together while we captured timeless, romantic images throughout the building.

From classic architectural details to softly lit corners, City Hall provided the perfect backdrop for elegant and emotional wedding portraits.
